First date safety checklist for U.S. cities
· SnapSext blog · Dating tips
Safety and spark can coexist. Use this checklist before any SnapSext introduction moves offline.
Before you go
- Pick a public place with staff present—cafés, busy bars, or daytime walks in well-trafficked areas.
- Tell a friend who you are meeting, where, and when you will text an “all good” note.
- Arrange your own ride; avoid sharing your home address on the first date.
During the date
- Keep your phone charged and accessible.
- Limit alcohol if it affects your judgment.
- It is always okay to leave—no explanation owed beyond “I am heading out.”
