How to report and block on SnapSext
· Updated August 2, 2026 · SnapSext blog · Safety
When to block vs report, what details help reviewers, and what to do after you take action.
Block is for your peace; report is for the community
Block when you want the conversation gone. Report when behavior may harm others: scams, harassment, underage suspicions, threats, non-consensual images, or impersonation. You can do both.
Act sooner than you think you “should”
Waiting for a perfect paper trail often means enduring more noise. One clear incident is enough to act. Your comfort threshold is a valid reason to stop engaging.
What helps a report
Save usernames, timestamps, and a short description of what happened. Screenshots help when the product allows them. Stick to facts. Reviewers move faster with concrete sequences than with long emotional essays—though your feelings still matter.
After you report
You may not get a detailed case file back. That does not mean nothing happened. Keep using mute/block, avoid re-engaging, and tell a trusted person if the situation spilled outside the app.
